After finalizing the adoption we were off to the doctors. Everything was fine, but she did have to get four shots. She cried ... about a minute. Then she snuggled with Dad. It was a big day for everyone. Dad got the first smile at breakfast and the first laugh this evening before she fell asleep in mom's arms. Meili Lian Frazier is now making happy sleeping noises in her bed.

How wonderful! I am so happy that you finally have your precious little gift from God. (sounds like she may be a "daddy's" girl :) I pray that your next few days getting to bond with each other will be a blessing.
ReplyDeleteHow sweet that her middle name is Lian. A little whisper from her Creator for a proud older sister! Landon and Luke have been following the blog and Landon is secretly bursting with pride for his new cousin. It was pretty sweet to hear him going on about how cute Meili is and he is excited to meet her. We love you all. Congratulations!
